Ending a battle

Chapter 13 · Ending a battle · generated from the rules manual

13.1. A scenario ends when any of these is met, checked at the end of a period: the objective cells held by player tanks or friendly infantry for two consecutive periods with no enemy close to them (Objective taken); the enemy’s behaviour turned to withdraw and no enemy anywhere near the objective (Enemy withdrawn); three or more player tanks knocked out, immobilised, or abandoned by their crews (Platoon combat-ineffective); the period limit reached (Time expired); tank one knocked out and the lieutenant killed (Lieutenant killed).

Under a hold mission (the platoon starts on its objective) the list changes: the battle never ends by Objective taken; it is won when the period limit is reached with a player tank or friendly infantry that has not broken on the objective and no enemy close to it (Objective held), and lost when an enemy is close to the objective and no player tank or friendly infantry that has not broken is on it for two consecutive periods (Objective lost). The other conditions stand.

13.2. The result is recorded with the full truth log. What it means for the campaign is the business of section 14.
