Five M4A1s and five crews who have never heard a shot. Sidi Bou Zid at first light on 14 February, the screen line in front of Faïd, and the days in camp between.

30 January – 19 February 1944 Italy 1944
Whoever is left, whoever arrived, sails for Anzio, musters into five new tanks and opens in the rain before Cisterna, with Panthers, StuGs and the Pak 40 across the ditches.
